I now have a food hashtag people! This will separate all of my content in my busy feed, so you can go straight to all the foodie related content. I've even listed it in bio so all you have to do is click on it. Lets talk HASHTAGS!

“I should of known better when I started to do foodie posts to create a new hashtag for them. So now I have to go back and edit all my food posts.”

Its also a good idea, if you have space - to leave the hashtag in your bio. I do sneakers, food and lifestyle and I've recently created more hashtags! If you are deciding to start a feature on your socials, I'd highly recommend starting a new hashtag!
Okay, HASHTAGS!
Firstly, the maximum hashtags you can have is 30. I'd recommend anything from 3 to 25 max personally, however you can go to 30 if you want as it wont affect your ranking or anything like that. Instagram‘s CEO @mosseri confirmed this.
I'd recommend using 25k to 250k hashtags so your posts are more likely to get seen and possibly noticed in the Top 9 or hot spot! When you add a hashtag, notice they generate a number which is greyed out, this tells you how many times it’s been used. The higher the number, the more popular the hashtag is but that’s not always a good thing.

Use hashtags which are specific to your post, try not to spam. Do not use big hashtags as they are over saturated, your content will just drown, IG is super fast!
If you really want to use them, make sure to mix it up and try to use no more than 5 big hashtags. Just have a nice balance.
If you have a niche, save your hashtags in notes and copy and paste when you want rather having to type each one over again.
Try it and let me know how you get on.
You can either post your hashtags in the comments section or what I do is I'll write my caption and then do like 3 - 5 dots going down and then type up the hashtags, this way when someone clicks on your post, the hashtags will be hidden unless they click on more...
in your caption. I know some people do not like hitting more... I'm think I may possibly start to post hashtags in the comments too as it makes the caption look more neater but I'm not sure. How do you feel about it?
