Kyrie Irving is legendary level player. I've had the Kyrie 1 previously and I was really impressed. One of the best traction both indoor and out. Low court feel, ankle felt is locked in. If you wear thick socks then go up half a size as these the fit is true to size but slightly snug on the medial side. The ventilation wasn't great but that didn't stop me from playing in them however your socks may be a little damp depending on playing time.
I've wanted to pickup a Kyrie 4 as the majority said (including friends) that this is the best Kyrie shoe. Its hard to find some of the nice colourways now so I’ve passed. I did recently pickup the Kyrie Low 2 but had to return as my size was very snug and yes, all sold out so couldn't even get a replacement. It was the Orange Sunset (TN inspired) colourway too. First thoughts, I'm glad they removed the strap and the chunky heel counter that would really stick out. This is now the lightest Nike Kyrie shoe to date. Nike was able to do this by removing certain areas on the sole and the outsole. Look at the lateral side, dope right? Super aggressive! Looks like a Shark's grin lol. I've seen a few images online, how good does the traction look? Perfect for all kinds of drag no?
Have you noticed how intricate the designs are more so on a Kyrie shoe? I've seen a few intricate designs on other basketball sneakers but not as much as a Kyrie. The designers at Nike must have a tough job man, how do you improve on a shoe thats already perfect?
Did you know Nike collect data from Kyrie's in game analysis as well as Kyrie's own tests in his lab? How crazy is that? Just like a mad science movie right?
By collecting this data, they somehow managed to create the perfect traction pattern for Kyrie. Each new shoe, they level up with Kyrie's game.
